Supplier Code of Conduct

Why This Matters
The jewelry in our collection passes through many hands before it reaches yours. Miners extract metal. Refiners purify it. Artisans shape it into something beautiful. Packers carefully box it. Drivers deliver it. Every person in that chain deserves respect, safety, and fair treatment.
This Supplier Code of Conduct exists because we believe our values don’t stop at our front door. If we claim to care about ethics while our suppliers exploit workers or damage the environment, we’re not an ethical company. We’re just good at marketing.
We expect every supplier, subcontractor, and business partner to meet the standards outlined below. These aren’t suggestions. They’re conditions of doing business with Zilvra925.
Labor Standards
Forced Labor All labor must be freely chosen. We prohibit any form of forced, bonded, indentured, or trafficked labor. Workers must be free to leave employment with reasonable notice. No worker should surrender identity documents or pay recruitment fees as a condition of employment.
Child Labor No person under the age of 15 — or the local minimum working age, whichever is higher — may be employed. Workers under 18 may not perform hazardous work, including handling chemicals, operating heavy machinery, or working with molten metals.
Working Hours Regular working hours must not exceed 48 hours per week. Overtime must be voluntary and compensated at premium rates. Workers must receive at least one full day off per seven-day period.
Fair Wages All workers earn at least the local minimum wage and, wherever possible, a living wage sufficient to meet basic needs. Wage deductions must not be used as disciplinary measures. Workers receive written documentation of pay calculations.
Freedom of Association Workers have the right to join or form trade unions, bargain collectively, and engage in peaceful assembly. No worker faces retaliation for exercising these rights.
Non-Discrimination Employment decisions must be based on ability to perform the job, not on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
Health and Safety
• Safe facilities — Workplaces must be structurally sound, adequately ventilated, and equipped with fire safety systems
• Personal protective equipment — Provided at no cost to workers handling chemicals, hot materials, or machinery
• Training — All workers receive safety training in a language they understand before starting hazardous work
• Emergency preparedness — Clear evacuation routes, accessible fire extinguishers, and regular drills
• First aid — Trained first-aid personnel and stocked first-aid kits on every production floor
• Chemical safety — All chemicals labeled, stored safely, and accompanied by safety data sheets
• Reporting — Workers can report safety concerns without fear of retaliation
Environmental Standards
• Legal compliance — All suppliers must comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations in their jurisdictions
• Waste management — Hazardous waste disposed of through licensed handlers; non-hazardous waste minimized and recycled where possible
• Chemical handling — No use of chemicals banned under international agreements (Stockholm Convention, Montreal Protocol)
• Resource efficiency — Water and energy use monitored and minimized; suppliers report annual consumption figures
• Effluent control — Wastewater treated to meet or exceed local standards before discharge
• Air quality — Emissions controlled through proper ventilation, filtration, and use of low-emission processes
Business Ethics
• No bribery or corruption — Suppliers must not offer or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper gifts. This applies to dealings with Zilvra925 employees and all third parties.
• Fair competition — Suppliers must comply with applicable competition and antitrust laws
• Intellectual property — Suppliers must respect Zilvra925’s designs, trademarks, and confidential information
• Conflict of interest — Suppliers must disclose any relationship that could create a conflict of interest
• Books and records — Suppliers must maintain accurate financial records and make them available for Zilvra925 audits
Monitoring and Compliance
We verify compliance through multiple mechanisms:
• Annual audits conducted by third-party auditors at all Tier 1 manufacturing facilities
• Unannounced inspections at our discretion
• Self-assessment questionnaires completed by all suppliers annually
• Documentation review — employment records, payroll data, safety logs, and environmental permits
• Worker interviews conducted confidentially, without management present
Suppliers found in violation receive a corrective action plan with specific deadlines. We work collaboratively toward improvement because we believe in building relationships, not just enforcing rules. However, serious violations — forced labor, child labor, or severe safety hazards — result in immediate contract termination.
Partnership and Support
Compliance works best as a partnership, not a police action. We help our suppliers succeed:
• Capacity building — We fund training programs in worker safety, environmental management, and quality control for our key manufacturing partners
• Long-term relationships — We prefer multi-year contracts that give suppliers stability and incentive to invest in improvement
• Open communication — Our supply chain team visits partners quarterly, not just during audits
• Shared learning — We connect suppliers with each other to share best practices and solve common challenges
Raising Concerns
Anyone — supplier employees, Zilvra925 staff, or third parties — can report concerns about supplier conduct through our Ethics Hotline:
• Email: ethics@zilvra925.com
• Phone: 1-800-ZILVRA-2 (toll-free, anonymous option available)
• Online: zilvra925.com/ethics-reporting (submissions can be anonymous)
We investigate every report. Whistleblowers are protected from retaliation by contract and by law. We publish aggregate data on reports received and resolutions annually in our sustainability report.
