Size Guides
Getting the right fit transforms how jewelry feels and looks. A ring that spins annoys you. A necklace that sits wrong throws off an outfit. A bracelet that is too tight pinches. These guides will help you measure accurately at home.

Ring Sizing
How to Measure at Home — The String Method
1. Cut a thin strip of paper or a piece of non-stretchy string about 10 cm long.
2. Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to measure. It should feel snug but not tight — you should be able to slide it over your knuckle.
3. Mark where the string overlaps with a pen.
4. Lay the string flat and measure the distance in millimeters. This is your finger circumference.
5. Match your measurement to the circumference column in the size chart below.
How to Measure at Home — Ring Sizer Method (Most Accurate)
Print our downloadable ring sizing guide at 100% scale (no scaling or “fit to page”). Place a ring you already own that fits well over the circles on the chart until you find a match. The circle should be visible just at the inner edge of your ring — not covered, not floating inside.
When to Measure
• Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest.
• Warm your hands first — cold fingers shrink by up to half a size.
• Measure 3–4 times across different days and average the results.
• Your dominant hand is typically slightly larger — always measure the specific finger you will wear the ring on.

Width Matters
Wide bands (6mm+) fit more snugly than thin bands. If you are ordering a wide ring, go up half a size from your measured size. The extra material covers more of your finger and restricts movement slightly. This is especially true for signet rings and chunky band styles.
Resizing Policy
Zilvra offers complimentary resizing on all full-price rings within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, resizing is available for a flat fee. Some designs — particularly those with continuous patterns, eternity bands, or certain gemstone settings — cannot be resized. This will be noted on the product page. When in doubt, contact our customer service team before ordering.

How Length Interacts with Necklines
• Crew neck and turtleneck: Princess (45 cm) or Matinee (50–60 cm) lengths sit cleanly above the fabric line.
• V-neck: Follow the V shape with a princess or matinee length. Avoid chokers — they fight the neckline geometry.
• Scoop neck and sweetheart: Matinee lengths fill the open space beautifully.
• Strapless and off-shoulder: Chokers and princess lengths emphasize the collarbone and shoulders.
• Button-up shirts: Princess length works with the top button open or closed.
Bracelet Sizing
How to Measure Your Wrist
1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, just below the wrist bone (where you would wear a watch).
2. Note the measurement in centimeters.
3. Add your preferred fit:
– Snug fit: Add 1–1.5 cm
– Comfort fit: Add 1.5–2 cm (most popular)
– Loose fit: Add 2–2.5 cm

Cuff Bracelets
Cuffs do not close fully around the wrist. A proper cuff leaves a 2.5–3 cm gap. Measure your wrist and choose a cuff with an inner circumference roughly 2–3 cm larger than your wrist measurement. Most Zilvra cuffs are slightly adjustable — you can open or close them gently for a custom fit.
Chain Bracelets
Always check whether the bracelet has an extension chain. Many Zilvra bracelets include a 2–3 cm extender, giving you flexibility in fit. If you are between sizes, size down and use the extender.

General Sizing Tips
• When in doubt, size up. A slightly loose ring can be resized down. A tight ring is unwearable and uncomfortable.
• Consider adjustable options. Many Zilvra necklaces have extender chains. Some rings are open or wrap designs that accommodate slight size variations.
• Measure twice, order once. Your finger and wrist sizes change with temperature, hydration, and time of day. Multiple measurements across different conditions give you the most accurate result.
• Ask us. Our customer service team can guide you through sizing for any specific piece. Send us a message with the product you are considering and your measurements, and we will recommend the right size.
